Inverness Project Description
The Eric F. Family
We at Wave Outdoors are quite enthusiastic whenever we are called upon to tackle a project as comprehensive as the one we have been working on for a family this summer, in the lovely town of Inverness, Illinois. When Eric F. reached out to us, he had an uneven, sloping lawn with no flat area to enjoy, an outdoor fireplace with no patio to lounge on, and no pool to spend the hot summer days in. To improve this circumstance, we promptly visited the property and worked with Eric to draw up plans that would illustrate his desired reality of this backyard.
Grading, Patio Paving & Masonry
Once the plans were agreed upon, we got to work! In this case, getting to work involved importing 3,000 yards of material to the yard (around 100 to 150 dump trucks full of soil). As for the patio hardscape, we decided the Mattoni Unilock paver would provide welcome texture to the outdoor space around the hearth. Also, we suggested a Windy City granite pool coping as an intentional aesthetic decision, which is the type of detail that can be easily overlooked, but can make a huge difference in the final result.

Design + Rendering
2D Design
Requires retainer, which is typically credited towards the total project balance. It is meant to give you an idea of how the finished landscaping project will look.
3D Design + Rendering
Slightly more expensive than 2D design, 3D design and rendering will give you the most accurate view of how your landscape construction project will look when finished.
Planning
We use the latest technology, from aerial drones to specialized software to put together a creative landscape design plan.
